What about W.G. instead of G. W?
Are we going to get a video on THE TITANIC
Maybe she wants stalked by a secret admirer. Maybe she did hear that conversation between the attorney and his client and instead of killing her they threatened her constantly and told her to leave or they would kill her and her family and that would explain the no forced entry because she left willingly or the attorney also had the keys and they left the book on that certain page to make it seem like a stalker did take her because people believed there was a stalker at one point. And they told her to leave her money to make it look more realistic, plus if they’re drug dealers they most likely have money so they gave her some to disappear. I could be wrong tho.
#postmortem : I gotta know, those marshmallows behind y'all got eaten, right?
Perhaps the lawyer and drug dealer didn't murder her but helped her vanish? That could explain a possibly false connection and said criminal contacts, especially a lawyer would be beneficial to helping her disappear and adequately cover her tracks.
When your 10 years old watching this : 👁 💧👄💧👁
Another piece of evidence that leads to Cynthia disappearing of her own accord (I’m surprised Shane and Ryan didn’t mention this) would be the book. It makes much more sense that Cynthia left the book on that page herself; if she had been murdered/kidnapped, then the culprit would have to turn to that page himself (not likely), or it would have to be a coincidence. Now, they did say that Cynthia was looking to quit her job, which only pushes this theory further. I think it’s definitely the most likely. HOWEVER - if she really did decide to just up and leave, I don’t understand why she would go through the trouble of making it seem like a disappearance. It’s a lot more complicated to do, she would have to forfeit all of her money (as stated in the episode), it would cause a lot of unnecessary grief for her family, and it’s not like it’s illegal for her to just move away or abandon her faith. She was 20 years old. I get that some people want a genuinely clean restart, but it hardly seems worth it for a new name. I think the missing keystone is the guy who claims he wrote the “I love you Cindy” messages. Like, if we had more info on him, this case would be a lot easier. If he knew Cynthia, he could have been asked to help fake her disappearance. Did other people call Cynthia “Cindy”? Because according to the video, the message was just a coincidence, but man does that seem incredibly unlikely. All in all, pretty good episode.
im def a shaniac. Sorry, you're sorry.
You're in perilous danger, here's a button😂😂
I actually found this episode funny because I had a dog named Cynthia. She died in 2013...
no one: shane: chURCH its tOO MUCH CHURCH \
"Cynthia thanks for watching"
id love it if they talked about the yogurt shop murders.
Do who betrayed Anne Frank
its scary how the video is exaclt 20:20
why do i think that on the I LOVE CINDY sign was george weasley...
I’m going with eloped with someone, if she had an overly controlling dad. Oppressive church, she’s planned to disappear....maybe.
When this happened my mom was 6 years old😬
I want to comment something but don’t know what. Uhhhhhhhh Weedeater
If she ran away then who was she getting phone calls from?
yes but that doesnt explain why she was scared about the phone call and she could have turned the book to that page to alert someone that she was going to be kidnapped but she couldnt make it obvious bc the stalker was watching her (i hope she did run away tho)
0:09 Caught me off guard because I live in Toledo Ohio Born and Raised-
Chances are she changed her name so imagine one of her children watches this video and them not knowing this video is about her/his mother😳
I love how my parents really think that I’m mentally stable when i watch these and have a wired obsession with Jack the Ripper the supper natural... How was your day
They said she was the only Cynthia on that side, remember?
That, Rabbit guy has me suspicious...
So I understand COVID-19 stay apart but why they have seats in between them and then have them sit on little tinny uncomfy stools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its been two months
Is possible for Cynthia to still be alive I believe... If she wasn't murdered of course. And if that's the case,if she ran away (possible, her household gives me the yikes a little bit) I hope her life is/was good and peaceful.
Maybe she turned that page to alert people how she was taken
Kings of social distanced story-telling
Tbh knowing some fundamentalists and what it's like, when the dad says her makeup and attention to appearance 'may have contributed to her going missing' I wonder if what he said was along the line of 'she looked too showy and caught the eye of a stalker and it wouldn't have happened if she hadn't started to paint herself up like that'.
i think we can all agree shane is becoming more undesired to be in these videos
It’s me, I’m GW.
hey ryan shane can you make more paranomal investigating
What’s the best thing to wear to court? A lawsuit ! Sammy when we get in there you actually have to be serious
"A quiet obedient girl." I think that means she's been planing this for a long time like she's been planning to act nice so they think that she was not strong enough to leave her family if she was that obedient.
I realized George Washington took her
I feel like the fact that her romance book was left open on that certain page that she could of been leaving a clue to what happened to her, just a thought.
You guys need to make a hey demons poster please i have the shirt need poster please and thank you
19:55 Remember kids, if anyone ever wants to make Shane disappear, just put some rice in his mailbox
You should do the Camp Scott Murders of 1977. It's considered to be one of the most puzzling unsolved murders in American History.
The police never thought to call the theory 1 person back? Or maybe track them down
I kind of expected this to be solved after all this time. The episode aired on Unsolved Mysteries back in the day :(
what if some guy was obsessed with her and did end up kidnapping her and that was her talking on the phone but she was never found because the stalker got away with it idk that’s just my idea
boss makes a dollar i make a dime that's why i vanish on company time
If she was too much into church, maybe she punished herself for doing something wrong?
14:40 What’s the music there? I looked in the description and all I got was a sound library.
They wondered about security cameras. Not in 1981 at a strip mall. It was another time.
Scrry
Wow
I checked Cynthia Anderson online and she is not attractive according to me.
Why's there no camera's
I'm a Christian and can confirm - too much church.
to be fair, that is a lot of church
why wasn't the boyfriend mentioned? He could've manipulated her into getting kidnapped honestly.
No signs of struggle usually means that she knew the unsub
"maybe you have somewhat of a detective brain" *nods in CC Tinsley*
I agree #3😊 also if she was being stalked/harassed by a creep who kept writing obnoxious messages on walls that may have been one of the contributing factors of something she wanted to get away from
Once you watch a few if these you get crazy Paranoid for a few Days
How did she get out if it was locked from inside??? I doubt she left on her own accord. She was most likely raped and killed
Also that theory explains the book page. It was her way of subliminally implanting a nefarious scenario in investigators minds.
Shane's hat and scarf suit him so well. Shane makes me happy. I wish I knew Shane irl. I feel like we'd be really good friends. Although I wouldn't feel cool enough to be his friend 🤣
Can you please do a video on Aysha Degree? She was a girl who disappeared in 2000
I think whoever kidnapped her was the person/friend who reccomended her the romance novel. She most likely got it from a friend or possibly a guy obsessed with her. Painted the letters and gave her the book then did the scene in the book. It was a romance novel right?
Finnaly at the comments. The save place
Did she spend the money on her bank? What were the initials of the guy who confessed to doing the graffiti?
I googled the Cook brothers bc I was curious and now I regret it. There are some sick and twisted things people in this world.
Ryan looks so different
Imagine being stalked amd killed by George Washington.
Hold up. Wasn't the watcher case from Bulivard
Also if she ran away, the book makes more sense - she would have been reading it, and would have known where the page was, and left it open there to lead the police away from the runaway theory
Whole lotta red
I believe it's her Father, we heard the way he spoke about her and how she was changing, she drifted away from church and he didn't like that his daughter didn't believe anymore, he got mad. If he was the one who took her and murdered her, it makes sense as to why he spent the time to turn to that specific page in the book, why there was no struggle, and why the doors were locked at the office. And he wouldn't alarm any nearby workers or stores because him and Cynthia could easily make it seem like they're just a normal father-daughter.
I was thinking the same thing too
I’m Christian and even that is too much church
It was Aliens
I thought yandere is not real.. It is totally real
great content I love that I can watch it on my own 😀
I'm Christian, but as soon as I hear "Christian fundamentalists" I immediately think she might've ran away or her parents orchestrated her murder depending on what was really going on there. It's certainly not uncommon for abuse to be going on in fundamentalist environments of any religion. Or her boyfriend did it, because goodness knows a lot of fundamentalist men are very toxic
I think it’s a mix. I think she was wanting to find a world away from her life, and she met a boy who charmed her and promised to take her away. When she realized that the man was sketchy, she started to ignore his calls and stop seeing him entirely. The man retaliated, and she got scared. Then one day she completely disappeared because the man finally threatened her with a high enough stake to get her to go willingly. The book might have been a clue that she herself left behind in order to spur an investigation.
I think she was abducted in the parking lot to be quite honest.
lotta church
Honey she just created fake crime scene and fled!
SHANE WHATS WITH UR HAIR FIX IT
Maybe it was the spirit of George Washington trying to send her a message.
A White House..GW Bush?!?!
What if the book was the main clue! Like the message was meant for someone else meaning it’s possible she started getting stalked around the time she started reading the book, the stalker was reading the book also and wanted to copy it and make one of his sick fantasies into a reality fallowing the book because like in the book Cynthia might have been kidnapped the same way as in the book and the telephone message was disturbing because it was recreating a telephone message from that book while she was reading the chapter or even page the message happens during. Maybe (if they didn’t already) if a cop or investigator read the book they would see that and then read a head for possible clues like if the protagonist was taken to a house like the panicked caller had described and if she was also being held in the basement and continue from there see if the protagonist was then taken to something like a park or, more grimly, a final destination. I feel like if I was the detective I would have looked more into the book clue because that was to much of a coincidence to not be a clue
am I the only one who saw in every video a mannequin with a suit on??☹️😳
With the book part, perhaps its because she was abducted and tried to tip the cops
A month-or-so late, I know, but what _should've_ been the *move* ??? . . . For science, of course.
theory 4 she was a lesbian
I knew Shane would say that it's *too much church* 😂😂😂
Good day sunshine
I don’t normally enjoy anything buzzfeed does but this is okay
my theory, she is in the book living as the antagonist working towards winning the love of the male lead. yeah i read way too many isekai manhwa's
I love that they are social distancing even when they probably have the resources to get those really quick (like 5 min) Covid test and make sure no one is sick on set. It sets a good example to us regular people who don't have that luxury. Thanks guys! Love the channel!
Boyle was last seen in his hometown of Marysville, Washington on November 4, 2012. He left his residence at 4:30 a.m. and never returned. The previous day, he'd been cited by law enforcement for a traffic offense, and he may have been distraught when he left home. His vehicle, a red 2006 Chrysler Pacifica with the Washington license plate number 169WNT, disappeared with him and has never been found; a photo of it is posted with this case summary. Boyle worked as the assistant girls' basketball coach at Marysville-Pilchuk High School at the time of his disappearance, and was also active in the football and baseball programs at middle and high school levels. He grew up in Everett, Washington, but had lived in Marysville for two decades prior to his disappearance; he was a well-liked, respected member of his community. Foul play is not suspected in Boyle's case, but his disappearance is out of character and his case remains unsolved.
She was sick of being a good church girl.
Y loved the goatman episode 🐐👹
This seems like another case of “religiously abusive parents who think they are doing the greater good but are actually being evil”
I think her dad killed her for trying to run away.
I do think it makes sense that she would run away. Maybe the calls made her scared. The combination of stress and heavy religious pressure and lack of sleep could have lead to paranoia or something similar. It might have all just pressured her to the point of breaking, and she faked her own disappearance.
If she did run away, it would also explain why her book was turned onto the perfect page to make people think she was kidnapped.
the audio glitched at some point and now I'm terrified
