Old Crime Meets New Crime | The Gap

164 911 Áhorf 6 m.

The Gap is a window into different lives and different generations.
Two people, of vastly different ages, discuss a shared experience that impacted their lives, how it affected them and how they dealt with it to ultimately emerge stronger.
In this episode of The Gap, Noel, a former bank robber, sits down with Cornai, a former drug dealer, to talk about their lives as criminals. Through their conversation we learn about the way in which both men protected themselves from violence, the things that kept them sane behind bars, and the opportunities that gave them a second chance.

Reminds me of the movie "No country for old men." One of the themes for the story is the "criminals of the new age" being harder to deal with than the older ones.

I hated guys like the one on the left when I worked in corrections. Ones that would make your life as an officer hard just for their own enjoyment. But, he brings up a great point about education and how it changed his mental. More prisons should invest in less "hug-a-thug" workshops and get more education and inmate jobs. The best inmates just want to go to work, shower, eat, and go to bed and won't cause problems. People like him though who don't care about visits so you literally have nothing to take from them were the worst. Hope these two are still doing well.
