the fact that the shops i go to don’t even bother to get rid of the parts that have lifted and just put the acrylic over everything.... it cuts down how long i can wear my nails since most of it underneath is so old. therefore instead of having nails for 2-3 weeks like i can with a fresh set they only last a week or so, so then i wasted $30. after dealing with that a couple times i stopped getting fill ins and just took the nails off at home and i now only get fresh sets smh can’t they all be like u

That drill is the reason I stopped getting my nails done years ago. I got burned so badly with a drill. Looks like Suzie is going more slowly. It still freaks me out though!

Soak 10 cotton balls in acetone and secure one to each fingernail by wrapping in aluminum foil and soak them nails off completely. Way less filing! You don't need a fill in after 5 weeks, you need a whole new set. But that's just my thoughts.

Why didn’t I watch this video 3 weeks ago 😢 now on my dominant hand I have 2 fingers with the greenies 😭😭😭 And I think I’ve over filed my nail bed. So I need to let them breathe 😔 back to ugly natural nails for me.

i use nail glue on my gel nails sometimes lol. they start to lift after a week because they grow and the oils and washing my hands make then lift up at the bottom so i do a little dab of glue and you can never tell, then i soak my nails in acetone before my next appointment

You’ve literally taught me and inspired me to do so much nail art 💕 My family and I aren’t the wealthiest, we’re considered “comfortable”. So we don’t really have a lot of money to spend on nail stuff :( but it’s still fun to watch and learn a professional show me how it’s done!! 💕💕

Suzie or anyone who sees this, the tip of my nail broke so I used nail glue to glue it back on, but now it's a little thicker bc of the glue and there's a really annoying line where the glue ends. Should I just wait for it to grow out or should I take off the glue and the piece of that nail?

@BieVie It's my real nail. I'm just scared to file it down because it's in an almond shape and my nails are pretty narrow and thin. I'll probably just file it off when it gets longer, thanks!

My friend had her acrylics done once, literally the day after one of them fell off in class as we were still in high school at the time. Fortunately I’m an art student so I had super glue on me so we literally just stuck it back on in class just so that she could look good until the end of the day and then she could go back to the nail tech. Turns out they refused to repair it so I ended up sticking it back on proper for her and they lasted like a month like that so yeah. It wasn’t the best idea but it saved her £40
