I’ve been wearing fiberglass with tips for years and they are WAY stronger than gel or acrylic. They take less time to do, my natural nails got healthier, and they last longer.

I used the fiberglass, the one in the box on a roll, with brush on uv acrylic to extend a couple of broken natural nails. Both of them curved up a lot at the tip. Any suggestions how to avoid this please and thank you!

Hello on the fiber glass, if you did the French nail, can you seethe fiber under the French? I use to wear the acrylic nails, when I worked, and then tried the dipped acrylic, and then back in 2008 I did the solar nails, I have a friend that wears the fiber glass with gel polish, I am not sure which one to go for, my natural nails grow, but they do tend to turn down, or snag, can I ask which one is better, or that don't damage the nails as bad, when I was working when the nail lady would start to drill my nails it would give me hot flashes, funny but true,

I unfortunately have a few missing nails due to a genetic condition and horrible nail biting as a child. I’ve tried to learn acrylic at home on my own and gel which just don’t seem to stick to the nail bed for longer than a few days at its just soft skin now, I’m sure I need to keep practicing and master the prep as well. I’m too embarrassed to walk into a nail salon. Do you think this method would help acrylic stick to my nails/old nail bed longer? They just don’t seem to last ☹️

Reading Susan and a prosperous 2020 I haven't seen you in about a good 5 and 1/2 6 months and as I was looking at how you're doing the fiberglass I know that you don't have to use the spray primer you can do the regular which doesn't have that much of an odor or fragrance and I would also recommend when you do it have better lighting and then where you some gloves to add the effect to The Nail that needs to be repaired fiberglass is the easiest it's not that difficult🤔🤔🤔🐦🆒💎🖤❇️✴️💫💜💙💇🏼💇🏻💖💟🤡🤡

So, for fiberglass nails, this is how i was taught how to do them :] you build a nail with Gel, just a thin layer, then lay the fiberglass ontop of it, and cure. Build your nail up from there, no extra pieces of fiberglass, just the one on the bottom layer. Then sculpt and file as needed, and you have a fiberglass nail :] This is just how i was taught, i'm not saying Suzie is wrong. It's just another way to do them, that might be easier to do, rather than just the fiberglass strips.

Suzie- I couldn't get into my regular person, so I went to a salon I'd never been to (famous last words LOL) and had a mani and a clear gel top coat. Well, it's been 2 days now and I have what look like little bruises on the sidewalls of half my nails! The polish lifted too, and my nails are very thin! I knew she'd manhandled me a bit, but this is awful! I want to do them myself as I do in between appointments (normally have UV gel overlays) but it hurts and my natural nail is over filed as it is! How long will this take to feel better? Should I leave them alone and natural, or should I throw on a couple of coats of gel or just a uv clear coat? Help! I adore you, BTW! I watch as an amateur just to see the magic! So relaxing! Best nail channel there is! Also love your sidekick there! Much ❤️ Love from Utah, US. It's the land of the sister wives and polygamists! Ha! 😂

Oh my god, people using boat fiberglass for their nails?? They must have gotten so many fiberglass splinters! Im afraid of toyching even sealed stuff because of how brutal they are. People who worked on/sanded boats and garage doors and such before good safety precautions have splinters in their lungs for life. Btw, fiberglass splinters are much smaller than the human hair. Nearly invisible and VERY uncomfortable. I cant believe someone would pic out boat fiberglass for their nails. Think, people!

Fiberglass was huge in oregon in the 80s. I love wearing fiberglass nails, and i love doing them.. I have only used it over a tip or natural nail because of how thin it is. Great video! I love how you try different things to see what will happen. Thank you! * I am surprised that you "saw" when you file though.. 😕

I use that exact kit from Sally's when I break a nail too low to cut. Have the middle nail on my right hand patched right now. The smell is killer! My partner doesn't bother complaining about all the various smells from my nail polish hobby, but that spray.. he will leave the room immediately if he walks in after I've used it.
